Annual 2025 data for new privately owned housing authorized by building permits. This is not a count of all renovations, completed homes or all local permits. Counties missing from the source are not treated as zero. Data includes the survey’s reported/imputed totals. We preserve source values and flag inconsistent building/unit relationships rather than correcting or discarding them.
